Aion = Fun

I was a bit iffy when I logged into Aion this weekend. I just wasn’t sure how it would pan out, and I had a bit of fear that it would be cheesy. Although, now I will be preordering the game. It is a lot of fun. I haven’t found a new MMO in years that I have enjoyed. They all seem to fail in one way or another. This game is beautiful, engaging, has fun combat, and the emotes flat out do it for me!
I just discovered your blog and enjoyed reading your Metaplace review. Had no clue it had been released, but after reading your piece, look forward to trying it out! I love the WoW/FR graphics look to it. And the ease of world building, from what you experienced, makes it that much more appealing. I wonder if mmo devs understand how some of us who live in bland (landscape wise) areas really use immersive and beautiful mmo-scapes as a way to truly escape the view out our window?
Anyways i’m also looking forward to Aion. Haven’t tried the beta but everyones comments are so positive it looks like a go for me when it releases.
