Great article and an entertaining read, Adele. A part of me wishes that I had some EQ2 memories, but I’ve really only been playing for about 6 weeks. I played in several beta phases and right at launch, but I left before my free month was up and returned to EQ1.
On the one hand, I feel like I missed out on a lot of fun when I talk to my friends who have been playing since day 1. On the other hand, I would have missed out on making 3 more years of EQ1 memories that are priceless to me. As an added bonus, had I kept playing back then, I would have ended up on a different server and wouldn’t now be adventuring with the fine bunch that I am.
All things in their time and place, I guess.
