Taking a Break

I have been super swamped lately. I got a new job and it keeps me very busy. I get home pretty late in the evening and I have just enough time to help the kids with their homework, make dinner, pick up around the house, get the kids ready for bed, get them in bed, and then I realize I should have been to bed at least an hour ago. I am pretty exhausted by this point and crash into bed only to get up and do it all again. I am utterly exhausted more so than I thought imaginable, and so due to this and lack of time I find myself not even checking my email. I might get around to that once a week.

As far as playing games I have pretty much lost all desire, and it is the furthest thing from my mind. In January I will be going back to school and taking evening classes after work, so I do not see my life slowing down anytime soon. The weekends are just as crazy. For example this weekend I am working as well, helping a friend shoot a wedding. The weekends are also the time I need to catch up on housework, laundry, and well spend time with my family since I barely now see them in the evening. Oh and the now getting sick all the freaking time. Being a pre-school teacher I have the germs crawling all over me everyday…. My youngest is now sick again and I am starting to feel my throat feel icky again….

I do not know when I will be back, but it will most likely be pretty quiet around here for awhile. Hopefully I will talk to you all soon!

Hey Adele – sounds like things have gotten pretty darn hectic. Grats on the new job (I guess??). Sounds like you’ve got quite a load between that and your family.

I hope you will still be the co-host of SUWT, and I hope you don’t completely disappear from your blog. Get to feeling better soon! We’ll be here when you get back.

My wife used to be a pre-school teacher… It is really rough the first month just because of the germs that go through your system. I remember her being constantly sick. Eventually your body develops some immunities… Good luck!

Life does have a way of sneaking up and biting you in the bee-hind. At the end of the day family is more important then games. So try to have fun at work, and enjoy life each day!
You’ll be missed on Shut up…

    See you.
