Aion = Fun

I was a bit iffy when I logged into Aion this weekend. I just wasn’t sure how it would pan out, and I had a bit of fear that it would be cheesy. Although, now I will be preordering the game. It is a lot of fun. I haven’t found a new MMO in years that I have enjoyed. They all seem to fail in one way or another. This game is beautiful, engaging, has fun combat, and the emotes flat out do it for me!

Woot! I just got a letter from the college saying I made the Dean’s list! Not bragging, but I just don’t have anyone else to tell, so I figured that I would tell the internet!

Domino’s Pizza Tracker is Bogus

2009 June 26
by adelecaelia

So I order pizza from Dominos, and I check out the tracker to see that it says that my pizza has been delivered. However, this is not the case, and so I am worried it has gone to a neighbor. I call the store and I’m told that it is on it’s way, they just clock them out so they don’t show up as being late for their delivery… So what’s the point in the tracker? Nada. Just Dominos propaganda to make you think you are getting your pizza quicker from them over competitors.

Domino’s Pasta Bowels PWN Pizza Hut

2009 June 16

I love pasta, and usually will order it from Imos or CW, so when Pizza Hut came out with their new pasta I gave it a try. It was disgusting. The pasta was mushy and the flavor sucked. My 14 year old daughter tried a Domino’s pasta bowl at a friends, and insisted we order them today. I tried hers which was the chicken Alfredo, and I built one with just Alfredo sauce, topped with mozzarella and provolone cheese for my youngest. They were both yummy! The pasta was cooked correctly and not a pile of mush, and the bread itself  is delicious, although most likely not very healthy. Next time I am building my own, and I think I may had mushroom and spinach. It’s too bad they don’t have broccoli.

Rain, Rain, Go Away…

It has been raining nonstop since I woke up this morning. I had planned on taking my oldest back to Six Flags today, but it looks like we have been rained out.

Anyone know a rain dance to stop the rain?

Shortest Trip to Six Flags Ever

Today we decided to take my 6 year old to Six Flags for the first time. We got in the park, and the first ride we chose was the Tony Hawk coaster. We had never been on this ride before, and thought that it only spun while going up and down a few small hills, we were wrong. My 6 year old was so petrified while riding it that I thought she was hyperventilating! She was so freaked after riding it that she refused to ride anything else, not even the carousel or ferris wheel, and begged to go home. We didn’t really have any other choice unless we wanted to force her screaming and crying onto something else. Yeah… it sucked. One ride. Wasted money.

Demand Studios

Many of my friends, family, and cohorts in gaming have asked about my main writing gig, which is for a company called Demand Media. I am very well meaning in my endeavor to answer these questions, and at some point planned on getting back to these individuals, but I think it would be easier to just lay it out on one page for all of them to view at their discretion.
